UCSD APSA (Asian & Pacific Islander Student Alliance) is excited to invite you to our 23rd Annual Benefit Talent Show
The purpose of the BTS is to showcase and support the richness and breadth of talent in the Asian and Pacific-Islander American community, who are often underrepresented in mainstream media.
This year’s theme is RE: Identity. Due to the lack of representation of the API community in media, we want to provide a platform for people to showcase their own stories through music, art, fashion, spoken word, dance, etc. When someone performs or talks about their identity, their story -- they're challenging the societal portrayal of their identities through stereotypes. So as a platform, we are "responding" to the subject of identity by highlighting the complexity and diversity of different identities.
**Guest Judges TBA
**All proceeds raised through the show will go to support a non-profit organization.
Please join us for this amazing night of fun and entertainment! We hope to see you all there!
