So what's a high school conference? A high school conference is a whole day event dedicated to exposing high school students (9th-12th grade) to higher education through interactive workshops addressing topics such as ethnic/cultural identity, self-expression & art, financial aid, political awareness, high school & community leadership, and youth empowerment. There will also be motivational speakers to share their experiences and meaningful interaction with both UCSD student mentors ("Funcilitators") and students. Did I mention that your participation in the high school conference is completely FREE and includes FREE meals??
What is included?
This year's theme is Shoot for the Stars! As countless as the lights in the sky, there are so many possibilities after high school and in higher education. At High School Conference, we strive to reach to the highest, best opportunities available to us!
